Angel Springs Water Cycle
Bottled under closely controlled conditions, Angel water is subject to stringent quality standards and regulations to achieve consistent purity of taste and refreshment. It’s continuously tested every hour by our team of microbiologists to maintain these exacting standards.
Our water comes from a number of different local, natural sources around the country, but shares some common characteristics:
- It’s filtered for many years through porous rock where it picks up its mineral content.
- It’s derived deep from underground
- It has a high calcium content - very important for bones and teeth
- It’s low in sodium and nitrates
- It’s a stable, reliable, and sustainable way of sourcing water
A spring is a seepage or strong gush of water which emerges from the ground. Springs often occur along the bottom of a range of hills where an aquifer meets the surface. Spring water is clean and fresh, especially if the ground water has passed through the fine pores of a rock, such as sandstone, which filters the water over a period of many years. Spring water is often rich in minerals. As a result, spas and health resorts are often built around mineral springs.
